Student Feedback
“The Thai course, the teachers, and the Asian Language Department Staff were all a huge help. Our main instructor could not have been any better. Her mastery of the English language allowed for her to clearly and precisely explain Thai usage and grammar, and her experience as a teacher was invaluable. Additionally, her classsroom demeanor and environment was perfect for students who are also professionals in their own fields. Goal= 2/2/1+, Tested Scores = 3/3/2+”

“This was hands down the best teacher I have ever had for language. I only wish I could have worked with [them] for 10 months instead of just 100 hours. I hope you can keep [them] for other students! [They have] an emotional intelligence for when to push you and when to ease up. [They were] organized in a way that you just felt like things were flowing along, but actually it was really structured.”
- DLS Thai student, Kelly S.
“[I had] an amazing instructor. I wish I had the opportunity to work with her more- she has the knowledge of a Ph.D. in both linguistics and International Relations. Our time together was well spent and my 3/3/3 indicates her abilities as an instructor after my 8 year absence from daily use of Thai. Brava!"

"[My instructor] was very professional, knowledgeable and included additional cultural information that will be very helpful when we go to Thailand. I would highly recommend [them] as a language teacher in the future.”
